About Sydney

Sydney is often considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world, featuring scenic cliffs, bays, and beaches. The local residents embrace the world-famous harbour and the many outdoor opportunities it provides with passion.

Stretching to the Pacific Ocean on the east, Sydney originated around Sydney Cove, now called The Rocks, the city's attractive historical village that lies in the shadow of the southern end of Sydney Harbour Bridge. Within an hour's drive west of Sydney lie the Blue Mountains, a favourite escape for the city dwellers to this region of national parks.

It is a city of variety, with many attractions and entertainment, diverse localities, rich history, world famous tourist attractions and an exciting events calendar.

The city's setting by the harbour, perfected with dazzling beaches and a sunny climate, guarantees the visitor a pleasant stay. This is a place to return to, each visit bringing something new and leaving with more wonderful memories.

About Australia

Australia is a vast country of nearly three million square kilometres, stretching from the tip of tropical Cape York Peninsula in the Coral Sea down to the cold wilderness at South East Cape in Tasmania, from the beautiful beaches and semi-tropical forests of Cape Byron to the arid Steep Point in Western Australia by the Indian Ocean. Most Australians live on the coastline of Australia, between the forests and the beaches, where the climate is warm in the summer and temperate in the winters. In the interior Australia is a vast desert, home to the 'Red Centre' and some of the most dramatic and barren country on Earth.

Australia’s great multicultural mix of one of the most ancient cultures on earth together with people from every corner of the globe has produced a nation that is diverse but inclusive, optimistic, vibrant, genuine, relaxed and egalitarian.
